About Dr. Wright
Each dentist has their own personal philosophy and is very qualified to practice in ways they see fit. It is my philosophy to restore teeth to an optimum appearance. Everybody deserves a brighter smile, and it is my goal to provide this to the community. I believe in my work, and I believe that word of mouth will bring many more to the practice.
After receiving a degree in Zoology from Brigham Young University (Utah), I attended Augusta College (Georgia) to research poloxamer binding to red blood cells with the military before attending dental school. Since graduating from the Marquette University School of Dentistry (Wisconsin) I have received extra training in aesthetics, surgery, dental implants, and dental practice management.
I also received an award from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and completed a post-graduate advanced dental residency in Fresno. As part of the residency here, I increased my skills in advanced dental procedures, in hospital dentistry, and in emergency techniques while working at the UMC Emergency Department on call. In addition to working at the UMC dental clinic, I also worked at the VA Hospital, and the Mendota Dental Clinic.
The most important treatment that I offer to patients, is something that I use. It's the NTI, and is the absolutely best thing in my life to help control my severe migraines. At my worst, I was getting nearly 3 migraine episodes per week with poor results from even the best neurologist in town. Since I started wearing the NTI, migraines are very infrequent occurrences. In fact, the last migraine I recall was like 6 months ago!!!
These web pages are just one simple way I have to get in touch with the community and provide educational material regarding dentistry. I want the public to be better informed of viable treatment options, and to know how much difference a brighter smile can make in their lives. I strongly believe in esthetic principles and whiter teeth while changing the world one smile at a time. After all, you deserve a brighter smile!
